Confined Space Trained

Our team can enter or be involved in entering a confined space. These include tanks, chambers, pits, pipes, sewers, flues, wells or other similar places which by virtue of its enclosed nature, there arises a reasonably foreseeable specified risk. 

The team were all trained in a realistic environment as well as gaining valuable experience in all the following.

• Working to the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997
• Personal protection and hygiene requirements
• Risk assessing residual hazards
• Checking the atmosphere to include the gaseous atmospheres, portable gas monitoring and its use
• The use of harness tripod or the man riding winch, fall arrest and safety lines
• The use of breathing apparatus and self-evacuation procedures
• Setting up equipment regarding the safety of operators, other staff and the public
• Hands on experience using equipment effectively and safely
• How to identify and set up a safe system of work and what to do in the event of injury/accident
• Use of appropriate personal protective equipment in relation to the PPE regulations 1992

All of this allows our teams to enter your tanks safely to be able to provide accurate surveys, unblocks and repairs when other equipment doesn’t make this possible.
